Finished Granddaughter's sweater and lots of dishcloths. Many projects on needles. Sleeves on sweater I think are too wide, will have to watch that on patterns!!

Life has been so busy and gotten complicated, why? I really like things easy and to go smoothly but life has a way of getting in the way!!!!

Kat Means

You are a seeker of knowledge, and you have learned many things in your life.
You are also a keeper of knowledge - meaning you don't spill secrets or spread gossip.
People sometimes think you're snobby or aloof, but you're just too deep in thought to pay attention to them.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless - and you have a lot of questions about life.
You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You're most comfortable when you're far away from home.
You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

How Many Calories/Weight Watcher Points????????????

The cookies were so yummy, ate them all last night. I had some for my after work coffee break and the rest after dinner for dessert. I have not yet found out how many points they were, sometimes just need to indulge but I should have saved some for today, ain't hindsight a bitch!! Maybe I can order some on line. But wouldn't that defeat my weight loss/healthy eating journey?

The sunny bowl has a found a spot in my bedroom which is blue and yellow soon to be entirely done in all shades of yellow!! I love it!

Just received my package today from Samantha and all I can say is WOW!! Yarn is a great Seacoast hand painted sock yarn in Sunny Day, love the colors!!!The pattern (hard to see) is for a great Japanese Feather Stole or scarf and since I just signed up for the International Scarf swap, the pattern is great!!
Samantha went with a handmade "local" theme.

I know the
questionnaires always ask if you collect anything and I never can think of anything. I do collect pins, started when I inherited some from my grandmother and now when I travel I look for cool pins. She could not have known this so..... and the one she sent is just beautiful but the picture does not do it justice, it may be the photographer too though. Thanks Samantha, I love everything and will be throwing my keys into bowl every night!!
Time for coffee and yummy looking cookies!!!

Longing For Spring Swap

A picture of my handmade item for my secret swap pal.

I know I have been told you cannot take a plate out of the oven (450 degree oven) without protection but this migraine must have flipped a switch in my brain!!!! Now my left hand is a disaster!! Good thing I am right handed, I can still knit only use the left hand to hold one needle (have a cloth glove on that hand for now). So now I still have migraine, which I think is weather related, it is pouring flooding rain here, at least not the snow Ohio is getting, and a throbbing hurting left hand!!!!!

Woe is me, have been suffering with a migraine now for 3 days. Hasn't stopped me from knitting my tote or finishing up ARM's (granddaughter) sweater. BUT I feel like throwing up!!!!!!!!!! BLECH!!! Can I cut off my head??????????????????????? This weekend I plan to do a skirt to match sweater. Then have to get into the mail!!! I used a cotton blend so she could wear this spring.

DH is working on tiling our whole bottom level of house. We have a bi-level home. Most rooms are done. We are using Indian River slate, we put up new paneling in family room, I know paneling but paneling was there previously so easier to just replace than to put up all new sheet rock. We used a much lighter REAL wood paneling and it looks great. Painted the other walls a deep green. I am so pleased with the results. DH is working on the "extra" bedroom downstairs which will be the exercise room when done much to DS's dislike, it was his room.

Next, I need to set up my corner of family room with my sewing stuff and knitting supplies. Will put up pictures when get a chance, DH won't let me take until rooms are perfect!!!!!!!!!!
