Separated for sleeves so now looks like a sweater in progress.

Sweater Update

Fingers are sore after 2 hours of non-stop sweater, results great though!!

Knitting

Working diligently on DD's sweater this weekend. I LOVE Blue Sky's Organic Cotton!!!! It is so soft and great to knit with, plus using my new Harmony needles which are fantastic to knit with.

I want to try and finish sweater before Rosh Hashanah (Sept 29th)
Before working on sweater, did some quick dishcloths (working on x-mas presents).

We have a family of deer who eat "breakfast" in our yard!!!! Then they leave but NOT before riling up doggie!!!

I don't have any photos of grandkids when they visited. I spent all my time with them so all the memories are in my head. I find it hard to get photos while we are playing around. Just don't want to stop and take the time to take photos. We had a blast!!!! My DD did take photos (she is the expert) but her computer died so all photos are still "locked" in her camera. Hopefully the wait will be short but...................

I started a hooded sweater for DD in Blue Sky's Organic cotton, I LOVE that yarn!!! Photos will come when get further along. I also started the ruffled evening bag by Nicky Epstein for a wedding shower gift.

Alive but in Poison Ivy Hell!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a small bout of poison ivy when I went to NY State to visit in May. I thought WooHoo, none of my "yearly" bad bouts!! Well how wrong was I!!!

The day DD and grandkids left for home/Colorado (8/19/08) I pulled a humungeous weed from my front flower bed, it was more like a mini tree and came up easy from the mulch. Didn't look like poison ivy but......................

A day later my right eye swelled and closed up. I have it ALL over my face. I could post pictures but it is so grotesque that I will spare you. It is between my fingers on right hand plus it is all over my arms, legs etc. Trip to doctors incurred a cortisone shot, antihistimine shot and prescritpions for both plus script for a cortisone lotion. Work sent me home!!!!!

Hubby said good thing it happened after kids left so they would not see their grammy as Godzilla!!!

Still Alive...............!!!

Just been so busy with my daughter and grandkids, no time for knitting or anything else. Love them to death and spending as much time with them as I can. Since I don't get to see them that often, I pack in lots to do with them. Forget the camera, I would have to hang around my head. don't know how BW does it. Will get photos from DD and post when I can. Going to see my mom with kids this weekend. They want to "walk the falls" again, they did "walk the falls" 2 years ago when I had them.

HAPPY News, MY DS whom I thought would NEVER get married is getting married next April. Will keep everyone posted on this as I hear. Remember he is in Colorado like DD, I get news whenever!!
